A horse named Sugar, two nurses, four kids, and an unreasonable number of side quests walk into a story… this is ours.
Sugar came first, when I was sixteen. Long before kids, pigs, chickens, gardens, skincare batches, candy experiments, and general farm chaos, there was a horse who helped shape my love of animals and eventually gave the farm its name.
Years later, two nurses started thinking more about everything that happens before people need healthcare—the food we eat, the products we use, the skills we pass down, and the way we care for the land, animals, and one another.
Add four kids, generations of family know-how, a few ambitious ideas, and very little ability to leave a good side quest alone—and Sugar Run Farm became what it is today.
